The name C3 refers to the building-compliance certificates (CCC & CFO), while Access means easy, transparent public access to those records.

CCC vs CFO

The two building-compliance certificate types on record.

CCC
Certificate of Completion and Compliance

The current system, introduced from 12 April 2008.

  • Issued by the Principal Submitting Person (a registered professional architect/engineer).
  • Certifies the building is complete and compliant for occupation.
CFO
Certificate of Fitness for Occupation

The older system, used before 12 April 2008.

  • Issued by the Local Authority (the council) after inspection.
  • Certifies the building is fit and safe for occupation.

Majlis Daerah Tampin keeps records of both certificate types. You may apply for certified copies through this portal.
